2 - STOCK
The main question when fancy new components release is "Do we have stock?". At the time of writing this article the only card we've seen is our testing sample from NVIDIA, no retail units yet but we are expecting stock to arrive very soon so have listed the cards on relevant PCs so you can get your orders in! If you're reading this a while after release, we'll keep our status page regularly updated with current stock status, there's also loads more handy info on there.
*UPDATE 31/01* - We've received stock today!

3 - OUR THOUGHTS
This isn't a review per se, however we thought it'd be good to put a breif overview of our thoughts in here just in case you're seeing other reviews not sure wether this is the card for you or not. There's no doubting that the RTX 5080 is an incredible GPU, with no competition from the likes of AMD or Intel. This lack of competition might be part of the reason the generational performance increases we're seeing aren't as impressive as some previous cards from NVIDIA (GTX 1080 Ti my beloved).
From our testing, and third party benchmarks, performance increase over the RTX 4080 SUPER is between 8% and 15%, without taking into consideration the new Multi-Frame Generation which is now on the table thanks for DLSS 4. Without going into too much detail, this new tech can, in a perfect scenario, double framerates in supported games.
4 - PRICE
MSRP is £979.00, which is £30 higher than the 4080 SUPER so certainally fair in comparison. Our current list price is inflated because we're having to hoover up any cards we can find, and these are mostly massively overpriced as they are premium models. Once supply of the sensibly priced cards stabilises we will drop our list price accordingly.
5 - FINAL THOUGHTS
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 combines excellent performance with the newest AI technologies to bring the best gaming performance from any available Graphics Card (until the 5090 physically arrives!). If you're looking at a high-end build the RTX 5080 is the GPU that you want. You can check out our RTX 50 Series PCs here.
