I have had my new computer since last Tuesday 25th August 2020 late afternoon. its not the standard Metis as I took advantage of UK Gaming computers upgrade options, very useful. I had the following upgraded, the motherboard, the PSU, the Ram, the hard drive I had changed to an SSD, 2 additional case fans and changed the case as I needed the power button and USB on the front due to where I keep my computers. Yes and I had them install windows 10 (upgraded to pro free). With all the upgrades I requested it took 2 weeks to source the parts, build, test and send the computer to me and of course an upgrade in price but still under my modest £800 target price . It arrived in good order and suitable packaged. UKCG online instructions for un-packaging and waiting a while before starting was useful as is UKGC FAQ's and articles on their website. My new computer runs fine, starts up very Quick and runs smoothly, pretty quiet only the case fan ( case manufactures own) makes any discernable sound . The computer case looks subtle and purposeful and with the side window and internal lights on the board adds additional interest. Most people like to see what's inside the case. My last computer lasted 8 years, an APU powered off the shelf piece of kit from a mass supplier. UKCG give a much longer than average guarantee than most possibly due to the testing they carry out, hopeful I shall never have to use it. I now have a good multimedia computer that I expect will last me into old age and that can be further upgraded in the future I wish. thank you very much UKGC.

    Great build quality with top brand parts and so on, but... I decided to purchase this system with a couple of small upgrades to have it run Classic WoW. I wanted to give the processor a bit of boost up from the Celeron, but was advised against it by the build team. I was reluctant to go with it, but decided to take their word for it anyway. It seemed like only a couple of days later that the standard version of this setup I bought got upgraded to have a way better Ryzen processor in instead, which to be honest, I felt a bit cheated by: I got left with a subpar processor in comparison for the same price :/ I read other reviews on this setup and saw that there was no network card included so I added that to my setup. However, on receiving the computer, I went to insert my OS CD and I was just like, "what... No CD drive?" After some hassle I installed the OS, but damn, I thought there would have been a CD drive at least. I understand that an OS should be an optional extra, but no CD drive as standard so the buyer can install their own OS themselves is a bit baffling in my opinion. So be warned: make sure a CD drive is included in the setup. It's easy to overlook because you may think that just a basic one would be included "as standard", but it's not. If a warning could be included in the product description about there being essential elements from the standard build that need to be added, that would be beneficial to future buyers. Anyway, good build and the quality of parts is the best as promised in the description. Service though: needs some work as I felt a tad undervalued as a customer, especially when I knew I'd need a better processor for my requirements. The Celeron struggles even in WoW, but I guess I'll have to upgrade the processor myself as I apparently "don't need it".

    My computer is great!! My computer is great!! I was able to get everything I need for my college course in Interactive Media e.g. RAM, Graphics Card etc. Also everything I need for my gaming needs. I was updated every step of the way and delivery was quick and easy. I would highly recommend this site for anyone who is gamer or graphic designer. The cost of my computer was also good, as I am a student who only works part time. Only thing I will say is that people double check their orders before buying. I didn't and forgot to get speakers and a wireless card.

It was very customisable, allowing me to add more RAM and a graphics card at minimal cost. The default hardware is already very good and with 4 USB 3.0 ports already, it's pretty progressive. I had a problem with cooling with my old computer, however this one has not even slightly overheated. It has an incredible cooling system for such a low price. It has gone above and beyond what I required from it, which is to casually play games and multitask with media and photo editing software, as well as browsing internet or instant messenger software. Every step of the purchasing process was easy and kept me up to date with everything going on with the pc. They responded asap to one email regarding a security check, and continued with the process. The PC was delivered exactly on time and it was incredibly easy to set up with instructions for those who aren't familiar with computers.

    Star machine at a star price, with excellent customer service and information supplying. My PC arrived in the third week, which I believe is normal for this time of year what with christmas and the sales, so I was very happy to get it. It's beautiful to look at, runs perfectly and I can't imagine it being any better for the price I paid. This is my first 100% ownership PC and the first PC I've ever used which is capable of running complicated software. My old PC for example could just about run Rome: TW on minimum with 25fps, this beast runs Empire on ultra with 30 :D (Though with a few upgrades for reference if anyone is looking for what will run what; 8gb RAM, i3 processor, 7750 graphics) I was a little dismayed that I didn't receive all of my stickers and posters for components, but I know that most people looking for gaming machines go for the clean look and will just throw those things away, so I'd understand having to ask specifically. UKGC with the Metis have given me the power to game how I've always wanted, and enhanced my day to day photoshopping, painting and designing to levels I've never experienced before. Other than one tiny thing I can't fault it. Star machine at a star price, with excellent customer service and information supplying.

    We purchased a Metis Custom Gaming PC for our 15 year old son UKGC COMMENT - Customer had a virus that they had downloaded and installed! We purchased a Metis Custom Gaming PC for our 15 year old son from UK Gaming Computer after reading very positive reviews about them . From the first time he switched on the computer it was apparent there were problems. When I contacted their customer service team I was informed that it may be a software problem and our computer was not covered for problems with the software. I felt this was unacceptable as they sold us the software and installed it. They gave us some advise on how to fix the problem and after trying this and numerous other attempts to fix the computer the problem still remains. I contacted the company again only to be informed that we could send the computer back for them to look at but it would have to be at our expense. Again we find this completely unexceptable as we're sure most people would. When you buy a computer you expect it to work and not to have to jump through hoops and go to more expense in order to get a fully working computer. After speaking to the senior engineer (an incredibly rude unhelpful man) our issue is still not resolved as we refuse to pay for a courier, or drive to Colchester to deliver the computer ourselves and the company do not care as they have our money and it would appear they feel they also have the upper hand.

    FANTASTIC - This computer is great for the money FANTASTIC - This computer is great for the money, it runs very smoothly on games such as Counter Strike, DayZ, Payday 2 and Left For Dead multiplayer ( only ones ive tried up to now) with no lag at all. there is near enough no sound coming from the computer its self or if so its very quite, it was built perfectly and came with all the original manuals and a step by step guide to set my PC up and running. Starting with the budget Metis PC, I was easily able to customise the hardware configuration from the available drop-down fields. At each stage the total price was calculated, so there were no surprises. The option to check compatibility of selected components was an additional safeguard to ensure no unwanted surprises. After placing the order, I received an email confirming order acceptance and payment, followed by additional emails advising progress and a final email requesting a convenient delivery date.
    Arrived well packaged and in good condition. Unpacked, plugged in peripherals and switched on. Superb. Have no hesitation in recommending this company.

    Great service Great service, regularly updated with emails informing me of the progress of my order which was very exciting to say the least! Especially when it was nearly completed. No problems whatsoever with the computer and it's been used a lot over the last 5 days. Value for money was great in my opinion, and the 6 year warranty is generous, most computing warranties that I've found are only 4 years maximum.
    Delivery was fantastic also seeing as i was out when it was delivered but the courier phoned me to ask where to leave it, which most others dont.

    Blown away by UKGC's services. I bought the Metis just under a month ago now, and I'm blown away by UKGC's services. I was sceptical at first, but trusted the reviews enough to go ahead and make the purchase. The confirmation didn't take long at all, and straight away UKGC is available for any questions or issues you may have. I found the detailed status updates extremely handy as well; you know exactly what stage your PC is at, including an ETA with every update. On to the actual computer - I switched up a few of the specs before buying, and also emailed them about the changes I made. They were very helpful in reassuring me that my customisation was compatible. The PC runs just as I had imagined; I'm not an *avid* gamer, but I do play a few games that require a good machine for max FPS, which this delivers. The delivery was very smooth. It arrived when UKGC said it would; securely and without any signs of damage. Inside the box they also include a folder full of drivers and documents related to what's inside your PC. The only negative - which is entirely my fault - is that the tower is a bit big for my desk (learn from my mistakes and make sure the case is convenient!). Apart from that minor mishap, everything went perfectly. I can't recommend them enough, and will definitely divert anyone wanting a good PC for a great price to UKGC.

    I was very impressed with the service I got, when I purchased my gaming PC I was well informed every step of the way until it reached my front door I was very impressed with the service I got, when I purchased my gaming PC I was well informed every step of the way until it reached my front door, i liked that the fact I was asked what day I wanted it delivered for my convinence, the computer was well packed and had clear instuctions on what to do, some things I wouldn't have thought of. I have told allot of the lads at work aswell about the service I had who are also looking into getting a new computer, allot bigger companies charge allot more and you get allot less UK gaming is a really good company for computers I highly recommend !!!!!

    Extremely satisfied with the whole experience I was a bit daunted about ordering a new computer online but UK Gaming Computers made it so easy to do so. The whole transaction, from picking my components to receiving my new computer was actually quite pleasant.
