Simply brilliant pc I needed a new pc after my old one (ordered from ukgamingcomputers a decade ago!) was showing it's age. I need one for light music and audio work and a bit of gaming. I chose the Scout as a base and upgraded a few parts to suit my needs. This machine is lightning quick and breezes through all the tasks I have thrown at it. My daughter also uses it for video creation for A levels and again, it has blown through everything with ease. I changed the case to a Fractal Focus 2 and the two large ARGB fans are beautiful. The large glass side panel shows off the guts of the machine and you can tell it's been built by passionate professionals as it is extremely neatly put together. I upgraded to a i5 12400 (intergrated graphics) as I have had GPU's fail (not in my UKGC machine) and wanted to carry on working should anything happen. I cannot reccommend UKGC enough they really do build outstanding pc's.

Great service and product all round from the first time I spoke to UK Gaming Computers they filled me with confidence to buy from them. They gave me great advice and did not try to up sell needlessly. I told them what I wanted to do with the PC and they recommended a few upgrades which turned out to be perfect. Scout - i5 Gaming Computer Despite all the craziness with covid, brexit, component manufacture/supply delays all in all we can't fault UK Gaming Computers communications and info regarding delays which were out of their control. We did decide to amend our order to take advantage of a better spec graphics card (RTX3070) which was in stock as our RTX3060Ti was on back order. This amendment allowed us to receive our completed pc sooner and which we are grateful for. We can not praise UK Gaming Computers enough and have no reservation in recommending them. I'm sure they will be our first port of call for our next pc.

Great service & fantastic PC In spite of (expected) delays related to the pandemic, the UKGC team kept me updated throughout the process, and I think this has still been one of the fastest ways to get a system with a Nvidia 3070 GPU. The PC itself looks great, and the fans are much quieter than I expected. As a previous console gamer, the performance of my new PC is beyond anything I have ever experienced and I am incredibly happy with it! I appreciated all the small touches from UKGC, such as very careful packaging, 6 year warranty, and the PC coming installed with all relevant drivers and Windows 10 (activated myself with my own key).

Impressive! Due to the significant worldwide issues with the shortage of graphics cards our order was delayed by a few weeks, but this was not the fault of UKGC. The team at UKGC has been very good at providing updates about the stock problems, offering clear alternatives where possible. We decided to upgrade the graphics card which helped to reduce the wait, and we are very pleased with the performance of the PC. It's both super-powerful and great looking. Top shelf professionalism These guys really pulled it out the bag and saved my Christmas. i will certainly visit them again I have waited to post this review so that i could see how it fared over three months worth of usage I have to say i cannot fault it i was initially going to go for the i7 computer for my son but spoke with the staff at UKGC and they talked sensibly and with some knowledge on the pro's and cons of individual parts even talking themselves out of money. the computer arrived well packed although one of the front drive plates had come detached but due to the foam inset protecting the innards there was no way for it to go. my son says its a beast i have thrown the top games at it and it plays them all without problems and eats the video editing my son does for his website . there is a short unpacking vid on my sons channel at www.youtube.com/user/savagecrom if you want to take a look. all in all i cant fault them i will certainly visit them again i have been using computers since Dos (look it up young ones) and putting together computers for years i couldn't source the parts for these prices and it saves time and energy i put extras in so i can over clock in the future but it is a fast silent machine even without it....nuff said

Thanks so much I had been looking around for a new computer for a few months, and after reading lots of reviews I decided to go with UKGC simply because of their excellent reputation for customer built PC's as well as their fantastic customer service. I decided to go with the Scout since it was suited my specific needs and was within budget - albeit upgrading a few components such as graphics card and RAM, as well as adding liquid cooling for overclocking. From the moment I ordered to it being delivered I had been kept well informed of the progress of the build. It took 7 days to build, then a few more days for testing - which is excellent considering I had upgraded some components. So far it has been able to run Battlefield 3, Far Cry 3 and FSX at fantastic FPS without any problems! It has certainly surpassed my expectations. Overall, UKGC have been amazing and I am so happy I purchased from them - so will definitely be recommending them to everyone I know. Thanks so much, A very satisfied customer.

UKGC have phenomenal customer service and will take great care of you! Delivery- Firstly, I would like to thank UKGC's customer service as they were fab during the courier troubles. When the monitor was delivered first, I expected the tower to come soon but as the night got late, I began to panic and since I already signed, expected UKGC to make me deal with the problem alone- oh, but I was wrong! A quick call calmed the situation and they contacted the courier for me to find that he 'forgot' to pick it up. Sheesh. But at least I was assured it would come the next day, so I took another day off. Sadly, it did not come, as another error was made. Third time was lucky and although I was told it'd be a morning delivery, it came around 2pm but it was worth the wait. As I said, UKGC was professional and a pleasure to deal with during this, so bravo! Packaging- The monitor came in a sturdy box with no marks. The tower's box however looked a little beaten and ripped but opening it showed that it was safely tucked away in foam. Insides the box was everything I need- DVDs, books and information sheets. Although everything was already installed (much to my surprise), it's nice having these lying around and the information on the sheets are perfectly concise so even a tech newby can set up their PC. Case- Larger than I expected but definitely not an issue. The entire front is made up of bays which were a little kicked in and skewed somehow but there was no real damage. All I had to do was remove the bays and align them easily- I presume this was the courier's fault as I highly doubt it would leave the workshop in this condition. The case has a nice mesh design for optimum air flow and a huge window to see everything inside. I was held in awe the first time I powered this baby up and stared at all the pieces inside. The wires are all very neat and won't be obstructing any air. Gaming- This is what I purchased the PC for and was blown away. The GTX660 is rather 'light' in the graphics department these days and since I had to buy a monitor, there was no room in the budget to upgrade. Frankly, it exceeded my expectations- the 660 is a solid beast that runs Skyrim on ultra high with HD mods, Metro: Last Light on high, and with a custom config, I'm able to get 200+ FPS in Team Fortress 2 (works great in the highest settings but in a competitive first player shooter, I go for Frames Per Second over graphics). If you have room to upgrade, I suggest a higher GPU, but if not, don't sweat it! This baby is perfectly capable of modern gaming and will be for a long time to come! Aside from gaming, as a PC in general, it is quiet and boots up extremely fast- so fast that Steam goes into offline mode before I can even connect to WiFi! Games load up in a matter of seconds too, when it would take up to a minute or more on my laptop. That's all I have to say so I'll summarise. UKGC have phenomenal customer service and will take great care of you! You'll always be at ease and reassured that you can ask as many questions as you'd like with no bother. They keep you up to date with each stage of the building process, use top quality and known brands and build their PCs with passion. I am recommending this company to all of my friends who are getting into PC gaming and will be happily dealing with UKGC in the future.

Would absolutely buy from again. This PC is a fantastic buy. I upgraded the graphics card to a gtx 770 and the computer takes every game I've thrown at it on top settings. The only issue was a small noise coming from inside the pc. However I called UKGC and they were incredibly helpful, giving me information and aiding in the issue, and that it is not anything severe and a rare case of coil whip (not something that was the companies fault). They gave me advice and how to sort the issue. They were also extremely helpful regarding any matters I had, both on the phone advising me on what PC to get, and by email regardig any queries I had. I would absolutely recommended this Pc, it has minimal noise and is a great performer for it's price, along with being very speedy and with an excellent look. I also cannot be more delighted with UKGC, one of the best companies and customer service I have ever encountered. Would absolutely buy from again.

THANK YOU UKGC! I bought this rig as my old one was struggling with some of the newer games performance wise, I can't commend UKGC enough for their fantastic service from order to delivery. The customisation options are endless and really allow you to create the gaming PC just for you, I upgraded a couple of parts in my order all at a really reasonable price to get the spec I wanted. The communication from the team at UKGC is just fantastic, no question is ever to small for them to answer either via email or phone and I received all updates on my order promptly and it kept me excited all the way to delivery. I paid a little extra for a Saturday delivery which came promptly on the day. The rig was well packaged in the case box and the rig itself is built very professionally, cable management is excellent allowing great airflow and it looks great with the added blue LEDs :) I also got a free upgrade on my power supply and motherboard which was a welcome surprise! I ordered my PC with an operating system and was pleasantly surprised that all drivers for the hardware had already been installed so I could jump right in! The instructions provided are very clear and although usually I build my own PCs it's great to see that UKGC put a lot of though into the instructions provided for those who may need a little extra help getting started. I got this PC with a few modifications, improving the processor cooler and a larger hard drive as well as adding a wireless card and windows 7, it arrived about a week ago with UKGC throwing in a better motherboard and I am loving it. I should quickly mention that there was a slight problem with verifying my copy of windows 7 however this was not the fault of UKGC and they were very helpful pointing me in the right direction to sorting it out with Microsoft.
The computer runs superbly, i tend to play open world RPGs and strategy games and the scout has handled everything I've thrown at it with ease - It's an amazing feeling having games default to ultra high settings when you first start them up. The case is a fair amount larger than I had expected but keeps the PC running without any hints of overheats even though it's in a room that seems to trap heat during the summer.
I'd really recommend this PC if it's within the range you are looking at and would generally recommend buying from UKGC as they have answered any questions I have had through the buying and setting up process. 5/5

i couldn't recommend this company highly enough to anyone who is thinking of buying a new gaming PC. I got my Scout a few weeks ago, but i thought i'd try it out properly before writing a review. I purchased it primarily to play MMOs such as World of Warcraft, Rift etc. and got a few upgrades over the standard setup, including a better GPU and more RAM. Both of the titles i mentioned run on absolutely maximum settings without any trouble whatsoever to the PC, and contrary to another review of this machine i've read here, i have in excess of 120fps in the Shrine in World of Warcraft, not 32fps! The service i received throughout the purchasing process, from initial enquiries right up to after sales, was top notch and any questions i had were answered quickly and satisfactorily. The build quality of the machine is excellent and i couldn't recommend this company highly enough to anyone who is thinking of buying a new gaming PC.

I was like a child on Christmas day. Honestly, when I first got it and open the box. I was like a child on Christmas day. It took 5 minutes to get everything sorted from it being removed from the packaging. Plug everything into the relevant slots and you're ready to rock. The actual computer works perfectly...super fast, super efficent, and great for playing the games that I want to play at max settings. UKGC, you have ruined my life. To explain why i must tell you what my life was like before i received my Scout.
It was a life full of love, laughter, social acceptance and success. My Girlfriend and i would spend evenings cuddled up on the sofa, weekends going for long walks. I was heading for a promotion at work. My friends and i would meet up regularly. oh we were so close back then.
But then i ordered the Scout from UKGC. I had the processor overclocked to 4GHz, a GTX 970 video card installed along with an SSD. The results have changed my life forever.
The machine is so good that i haven't left my chair for anything less important than the toilet or basic sustenance in many, many days. When my scout arrived my face was clean shaven, in fact i looked very smart and professional. Now i look like i have been living in the wilderness for a considerable amount of time, and their is a smell coming from me which i am simply unable to describe.
Being able to play any game i have come across on ultra means that i haven't spoken to my Girlfriend in about a week. I'm not even certain she is still here. I think she mentioned something about moving to her mothers at some point over the weekend.
My friends assume i have left the country as they haven't seen or heard from me in a very long time.
My boss saw rapid deterioration in my quality of work, which means i have gone from "young go getter" to "get him out of here". Even my cat gives my a look of sheer disgust whenever i look at him.
UKGC, i am blaming this all on you. Your website is so user friendly, your service is so outstanding and your prices are so reasonable, it was a trap waiting to happen.

I would 100% recommend this deal to everybody. Short version: Excellent service, excellent computer. I am completely satisfied. Long version: It is very hard for me to imagine what they could possibly have done to make me more happy. Everything was completely smooth from the moment I started considering buying a new gaming PC from UKGC up until right now when I have already been enjoying my new machine for almost four weeks. I even discussed my choice of PC over the online chat UKGC provides. Worth mentioning is also excellent online system which keeps you informed which stage is your order currently in, as well as very good delivery service they use. And, most importantly, the price of my PC is pretty much equal to the sum of prices of the components used (I checked). In other words, if you buy the components and build the computer yourself, you will maybe have more fun, but you won't save money. It is useless to point out that the computer is built of really quality components as you can read that for yourself in the specs. Rather, I should mention the quality of the build. When the computer arrived, I first had to open the case to remove a small bag of foam which was therein to fix the GPU in place, protecting it from shocks. Therefore I was able to see the immaculate job they did inside (I should mention that I picked a different case for my PC - the excellent Black Pearl, which however has no transparent parts). Although there are not that many components in this PC, I could tell by the organization of cables and other little details that it was built by professionals. Next, I turned the PC on. As expected, everything was all right, except, perhaps, the fact that the default profile in my W7 was Administrator, which I thought was really strange (but I easily changed that, of course). I am really satisfied with the performance of this PC in games. I play mainly SC2 which is actually not much of a benchmark, but I also tested it out on more demanding titles and the PC was doing very well on my 1080p screen. Of course, this depends mainly on the choice of GPU; my point is that GTX 960 should be more than sufficient for most 1080p gaming (as you can read in most reviews of this GPU). It really depends on what you expect from your PC: If you want/need even more performance, you have to be prepared to pay more money, simple as that. I should stop now to not bore you too much by listing all the little things I enjoy about my new computer. To conclude, based on my personal experience with both UKGC and this PC, I would 100% recommend this deal to everybody.

The order status updates by email are very useful and I received a lightning-fast response to my message booking a delivery date. The PC and its packaging arrived in great shape and the process of reactivating the warranty remains straight-forward.As for the system itself, I couldn't be happy. It is super-fast, comfortably running rFactor 2 at full settings with large fields of cars. Windows 10 was set up perfectly out of the box and continues to work well. I can honestly say it's been one of the smoothest large purchases I've ever made! Bought this computer as a birthday present for my son from UKGC. I've never bought anything from this site before, or a custom built PC either so I was a bit apprehensive, but I can honestly say it's been one of the smoothest large purchases I've ever made!The whole process of building the computer from the base model offered, to adding new components was really easy and I was given clear prices for adding extra pieces to the computer. Setting a deposit amount and monthly payments for the PC was again very easy and flexible with how much I could put towards it, making it surprisingly affordable. I was kept in the loop the entire time from when I purchased the PC to delivery with constant email updates that gave very detailed descriptions about what happens in each stage of the build and testing phases. I decided to add a better GPU to this i5 Scout model and went with the GTX 970, I've not had too much time using the computer yet, but from initial play testing, the performance has blown us away and it seems to be playing everything we can throw at it at good fps and graphical quality, for example the latest Tomb Raider game runs at roughly 60fps on a mix of high and very high settings. I will more than likely be purchasing my own personal computer from UKGC in the future months and will also recommend UKGC to other also.

very impressed Firstly, thanks to the staff at UK Gaming Computers for doing a terrific job of assembling my new PC. All the cabling has been done in a very tidy way, massively reducing clutter within the machine. I also appreciate that the requested software and device drivers came pre-installed. My order was also processed very quickly and I received the PC the day after it was dispatched, so I'm very impressed with the speed of the high quality service that UKGC offer. The PC itself is extremely fast at loading. Software launches swiftly. I'm also very happy to say that the latest games run very well, often at 60 frames per second at the highest graphical settings. The case is beautifully furnished, with plenty of ventilation holes. This really helps with temperature management. All in all, I'm very glad that I purchased this machine from UKGC. That the UKGC testing process is very thorough helped put me at ease with regard to the reliability of the machine. I've had no crashes or any other problems with my PC since its arrival.

definitely recommend anyone on the look out for quality PCs to take a look. My old computer finally kicked the bucket after years of daily use. Whilst looking around for suitable replacement parts, It quickly became apparent that I would need to update the entire rig rather than just replace individual parts, so I ended up searching the web for competitive prices on custom built PCs or the parts to put a new one together myself. Browsing UKGC's selection of builds and the ability to modify them to taste is what really grabbed me. The parts chosen and the option to pick alternatives is something that really sets them apart from other web stores that build to order. I found the website intuitive to use and I found any additional information easily. I eventually settled on the newest version of their Scout i5 gaming PC. I used the pay4later finance option to pay for the PC and the process for that was smooth and straight forward. The build time took a little longer than I would have liked, being impatient and eager to get my hands on the new rig, but it was well within the time stated on the website and I did have the option of speeding up the build at an additional cost. I was also informed of every step of prgogress in the build via e-mail. My impatience got the better of me when I received the final e-mail advising me to set a preferred delivery time. I hadn't noticed that a pre 9 am next day delivery time was available, but after calling them, the gentleman on the other end gladly upgraded my postage for me and got my delivery set up at the same time. The tower arrived promptly and was well wrapped, cushioned and padded. While unpacking the foam inside the tower protecting the gfx card and cpu fan, I took a look around and the build quality is excellent. A very tidy and professional build. This is the first time I have had someone else build a tower for me, and I'm glad the guys at UKGC were the ones to do it. I would certainly buy from them again and definitely recommend anyone on the look out for quality PCs to take a look.

Would recommend 10/10! I am very pleased with the I5 System. The system arrived in good time and there were no delays. Upon unpacking everything was clear and very easy to set up. The build quality is amazing and inside the case is clear and all the wires are tucked away. You can tell they have taken the time with the inside of the case to increase airflow etc. The components used are also top quality, they are no cheap parts in this system or inferior items. My Scout came with an Asus Nvidia 1060 6GB and I have been very impressed with this card. Very silent, Max temp is 74C at full load and you still don't hear it. The entire system is virtually silent, I added in anti hard drive vibration and some thermal paste for the CPU but other than that it's standard and I have found it to be really quiet. This is an added bonus for me and a welcome surprise, my wife is especially pleased. This system can handle all the games I have thrown at it at Ultra in 1080p. GTA 5 / Witcher 3 / The new Tomb Raiders / Crysis 3 / Doom / COH 2 etc. The games run incredibly well and for value for money I would say the 1060 card is perfect - on par with a Nvidia 980 I would say, it's a solid gaming card. I had not used UK Gaming before but am very glad I found them and would use them again and recommend anyone to use them. The customer service is also excellent as I asked a few questions before ordering and had speedy informative replies. So overall I am very happy, my system is excellent, the process of ordering was easy and trouble free and the build quality and components are top notch! Would recommend 10/10!

Very good company and very good computer! Great computer runs all games max settings and can stream all games on max settings, the build process and time it took was very short the cable management and setup of the PC is impeccable. The computer itself looks amazing with the white case and blue LED's, the airflow with the fan setup is also very good. All in all this pc is well worth the money as the amount you pay for them to build it and send it you is very minimal instead of paying mega bucks for a service off some big company. Very good company and very good computer!

I could go on and on praising UKGC. First thing what attracted me to UKGC was the ease of use of their customisation screens, with plenty of information and they give you personal suggestions (like where to allocate your SSD and Hard Drives) This is the first time I have used UKGC and overall, both the product and the service has been absolutely stunning! The PC is fantastically presented inside and out and I can run all AAA titles on high to ultra settings in full HD and am regularly achieving over 100 frames on the likes of Dayz, ARMA3, Rainbow Six Siege and Rust. The service has been exemplary and I have received timely emails throughout the entire process, and they make it so easy for you to confirm your dispatch date. I highly recommend UKGC and will be returning to them in the future for upgrades. If you are looking at a gaming pc and are unsure where to go, or are dithering between a couple of suppliers, you can not go wrong with UKGC and you will be in safe and professional hands. I used the Saturday priority service and the PC was allocated, built, tested and shipped to exactly the timescales they stated. I could go on and on praising UKGC.

You can see the guys at UKGC know what they're doing. Inside the PC is immaculate, as you'd expect. What I mean is that inside is all tidy, the wires are all tucked away and you can see dedication was put in to the building process. Now for the PC itself... It's rapid. The guys managed to OC the CPU from 3.8GHZ to 4.5GHZ. Massive thanks, Guys! The Scout i5 can basically run anything at 1080p/60fps on max settings for every game i've thrown at it so far. The LED lights inside are so awesome, I always turn the lights off and play because the tower looks so awesome. The customer service is brilliant as well. You can email them with any question you have and they get back to you as fast as they can, you can even phone them. I had a problem with choosing a delivery date so I decided to phone them up and the guy I was speaking with over the phone was brand new. So thanks again everyone at UKGC. 10/10 stars as 5 just is not enough ;)
